Disclosed is a battery pack which includes a plurality of battery modules; a pack case configured to accommodate the plurality of battery modules therein and having a concave portion concavely formed in a bottom plate on which each of the battery modules is mounted; and a fire extinguishing member accommodated in the concave portion and arranged at a lower portion of the battery module, the fire extinguishing member generating a fire extinguishing material when a thermal event occurs in the battery module.
