CYLINDRICAL LITHIUM SECONDARY BATTERY

A cylindrical lithium secondary battery of the present invention includes: an electrode assembly in which a positive electrode, a negative electrode, and a separator interposed between the positive electrode and the negative electrode are wound in one direction; a battery can configured to accommodate the electrode assembly through an opening defined at one side thereof; a cap plate configured to cover the opening; and a current collection plate disposed between the electrode assembly and the cap plate to electrically connect the electrode assembly to the battery can, wherein the current collection plate has tensile strength of 200 N/mm to 370 N/mm.
