The present invention relates to a secondary battery including an electrode assembly in which a positive electrode plate, a negative electrode plate, and a separator disposed between the positive electrode plate and the negative electrode plate are wound in one direction and impregnated with an electrolyte; a hollow center pin disposed on a winding axis of the electrode assembly and having a plurality of holes formed on an outer circumferential surface thereof; an electrolyte solid disposed inside a hollow of the center pin and including a first polymer electrolyte having a melting point of 60°C to 73°C; a battery case accommodating the electrode assembly and the center pin; and a sealing body sealing an open end of the battery case. A secondary battery with improved electrolyte impregnability may be achieved by using the electrolyte solid in the secondary battery.
