According to one example of the present invention, a pouch-type battery cell can be provided, comprising an electrode assembly in which pluralities of positive electrodes, separators, and negative electrodes are sequentially and repeatedly laminated to be formed in a rectangular shape, and the separators are provided to protrude outward in a state where the positive electrodes and the negative electrodes are covered; and a pouch case in which a folding portion is formed on one side of four sides to accommodate the electrode assembly and a sealing portion is formed on the remaining three sides of the four sides, wherein middle layer separators among the plurality of separators are formed by pressurization inwardly so that the protruding lengths are reduced, and then the sealing portion is formed.
