The rubber composition includes: a diene rubber, an antioxidant, a reinforcing functional filler, and a vulcanization system reagent. The diene rubber includes a special structural diene rubber, where a chemical structural formula of the special structural diene rubber includes a branched chain and/or a side group, and the branched chain and/or the side group includes an alkenyl double bond and/or an aromatic group. The rubber composition using the special structural diene rubber in a certain proportion can obtain, without containing zinc, rubber properties, such as crosslinking density, hardness, stress at definite elongation, hysteresis, etc., which are close to those of a zinc-containing rubber composition, thereby meeting requirements for properties of manufactured tires. The preparation of the tread rubber using the zinc-free rubber composition of the present invention may be performed by using a mature method, and is high in safety.",
