In the electrochemical apparatus, a first positive electrode active material layer is disposed on a surface of a positive electrode current collector, and a second positive electrode active material layer is located on a surface of the first positive electrode active material layer away from the positive electrode current collector. A first positive electrode active material in the first positive electrode active material layer includes at least one of lithium cobalt oxide, lithium nickel cobalt manganese oxide, lithium nickel cobalt aluminum oxide, or lithium manganese oxide, and a second positive electrode active material in the second positive electrode active material layer includes at least one of lithium iron manganese phosphate or lithium iron phosphate. Along a width direction of an unfolded positive electrode plate, the first positive electrode active material layer includes a first end face and a third end face opposite to the first end face, the second positive electrode active material layer includes a second end face and a fourth end face opposite to the second end face, the first end face extends beyond the second end face, and the fourth end face does not extend beyond the third end face.",
