The present application discloses a battery and an electric device. The battery comprises battery cells and a case. The case comprises a first plate, a second plate, and at least one side plate, the first plate and the second plate are oppositely arranged, the at least one side plate is connected to the first plate and the second plate and defines an accommodating cavity together with the first plate and the second plate, and the battery cells are arranged in the accommodating cavity. A recess is provided on the side of the first plate facing the second plate, and the at least one side plate is inserted into the recess and connected to the first plate.
