Fuel cell, comprising: a base plate (); a stack () held against the base plate (); and a compression system, which comprises: a support plate (), movable and held against the stack (); springs (), held against the support plate (); and a clamp (), held against the springs (). For the fuel cell to be particularly stable over time, the fuel cell comprises a first sliding connection (), to guide the support plate () in sliding relative to the base plate () and draw plates (), separated from each other and having anchors attaching them to the base plate () and to the clamp () to maintain the stack () in compression between the base plate () and the support plate () by means of the anchors, under the action of the springs ().
