ELECTRODE ASSEMBLY

Proposed is an electrode assembly including a positive electrode plate, a separator, and a negative electrode plate sequentially stacked, wherein the positive electrode plate may include a first side region provided with a positive electrode external-connection non-coated part for electrical connection to an external terminal or lead, a non-coated part in a predetermined portion of a second side region, opposite to the first side region, where an active material layer is not formed, a coated part between the first and second side regions, where an active material layer is formed except for the non-coated part, and a positive electrode insulation coating part formed in the first side region of the positive electrode plate, extending from a boundary between the non-coated part and the coated part toward an end of the first side region of the positive electrode plate.
