A switch control device and an operation method thereof are provided. The switch control device comprises a trigger switch, a self-maintaining circuit, and a control unit. When the trigger switch is pressed, the control unit is operated to stop the self-maintaining circuit from supplying power, thereby stabilizing the power source of the control unit.
