A fuel rail assembly for an internal combustion engine is provided. The fuel rail assembly comprises an elongate fuel rail (2) having an interior volume forming a fuel reservoir and at least one fuel injector cup (16) on the fuel rail (2), each injector cup (16) being adapted to receive an inlet of an associated fuel injector and providing a fuel path between the fuel reservoir and the fuel inlet of the fuel injector. At least one component (20, 40) of the fuel rail assembly is formed integrally with the fuel rail (2) and has a skeletal framework.
