CAPACITOR-BASED CONNECTOR FOR COAXIAL CABLE

A gas turbine engine (20) includes a housing (102) including a first component providing an AC signal into an input cable (120). The input cable (120) extends to an input conductive plate (122). The input conductive plate (122) is in contact with a dielectric plate (124), and an output conductive plate (126) is attached to an opposed side of the dielectric plate (124). The output conductive plate (126 extends to an output cable extending to a second component, such that a capacitance based connection is provided between the input and output cables, to communicate from said first component to the second component.
