The partitioning wall for the refrigerated body of a road transport vehicle for the carriage of goods comprises a partitioning wall (30) and at least one protective baseboard (40) fixed to the lower part of the partitioning wall. The protective baseboard (40) is provided with a fixing base (44) fixed to the partitioning wall and extending transversely along said wall, and at least one bumper (46) extending in projection relative to the fixing base (44) on the side opposite to the partitioning wall (30). The bumper (46) extends over only part of the fixing base so as to leave subsisting at least one vertical zone devoid of bumper, said vertical zone extending from an upper edge (44c) of the fixing base and being situated laterally to said bumper (46).
