Wheel for movable objects, in particular bed wheel, comprising at least one running wheel, a fork receiving the same, a guide tube that is designed to be pivotable relative to the fork via at least one bearing, locking means provided on the fork side, and a braking system that can be brought into operative connection with the running wheel and is designed to be rotationally secured, wherein the braking system comprises an essentially cylindrically designed locking element that is profiled on one side and can be brought into operative connection with a polygonal securing element provided on the fork side to form the rotational securing, wherein the profile provided on the locking element essentially corresponds to the external contour of the securing element.
