The carrier (7) is slidably mounted in the guides (6, 21) and carries a boom (10) holding the overhead line, which consists of a rod formed into an open loop (10), the ends of which are mounted on the carrier (7). The two opposing sections of the loop are connected to one another by a strut (31), at the upper part of which the support cable (11) and at the lower part the contact wire (12) is mounted. The strut (31) is mounted transversely displaceable on the loop (10). A cable (41) engages the strut (31), by means of which the strut (31) is displaceable from the ground. This facilitates operation.",
