The invention relates to a vehicle body (1) for commercial vehicles with a box-shaped cargo space (10), in particular a cargo space that is at least partially coolable, with at least one adjustable partition wall (11) which is arranged longitudinally displaceable in guides (18) of the vehicle body (1) within the cargo space and which can be pivoted from a substantially horizontally oriented out-of-service position into a substantially vertically oriented end operating position in which the cargo space (10) is divided into separate cargo space compartments (10.1, 10.2), wherein in the end operating position of the partition wall (11) it is connected via sealing elements (20) with floor (8) and roof regions (9) as well as side wall regions (4) of the vehicle body (1). In order to provide a vehicle body with an improved handling partition wall, it is provided that the partition wall (11) can be pivoted from the out-of-service position into an intermediate operating position, from which it can be transferred via at least one pressure body (13) into the end operating position, wherein the pressure body (13) can be braced via power lifting devices (25) with a floor region (8) or the roof region (9) and the partition wall (11) can be moved by the pressure body (13) from the intermediate operating position having a gap dimension (15) to the floor region (8) or the roof region (9) of the vehicle body (1) into the end operating position which closes the gap dimension (15), wherein the pressure body (13) and the partition wall (11) are designed to be translationally movable relative to one another.
