WHEELED PAVER AND METHOD FOR OPERATING A WHEELED PAVER

Described is a wheeled road paver (1) that comprises at least two drivable wheels (101, 102, 103, 201, 202, 203), with each drivable wheel being coupled to a wheel drive unit (111, 112, 113, 211, 212, 213), and which furthermore comprises at least one travel hydraulic arrangement (100, 200) for driving the road paver, in which at least two wheel drive units are arranged in hydraulic parallel connection in each flow path, whereby at least two hydraulically parallel-connected flow paths are formed. In at least one of the hydraulically parallel-connected flow paths, a wheel drive unit (112, 113) and an adjustable throttle element are arranged in series connection. At least in one of the hydraulically parallel-arranged flow paths, a rear wheel drive unit (111, 211) for a rear wheel (101, 201) is arranged and in at least one of the hydraulically parallel-arranged flow paths a front wheel drive unit (112, 113, 212, 213) for a front wheel (102, 103, 202, 203) is arranged. Upon loss of traction of a wheel, the volume flow passing through the corresponding wheel drive unit is throttled.
