OVERFILL VALVE WITH A FLOATING VALVE

The invention relates to an overfill valve (10) comprising an intake (11) adapted to receive a predetermined liquid and a drain (12) adapted to drain said liquid, a chamber (13) between the intake (11) and the drain (12), a floating valve (19) arranged in the chamber (13) and adapted to float on said liquid (27), said floating valve being hinged to the housing along a hinging axis (20), so as to close valve in a first position and allow a liquid (27) to flow in the chamber (13) from the intake to the drain in a second position. The invention also relates to a gearbox (23) comprising such overfill valve (10), to an engine comprising such overfill valve (10) and to an aircraft (30) comprising such engine or gearbox.
