The shift device (55) comprises a transmission shaft (34), a shift gear (60) mounted thereon, wherein the shift gear (60) is designed with a connection hub (56) that is axially displaceable relative to the transmission shaft (34), wherein the connection hub (56) has an internal toothing (58) that meshes with an external toothing (52) of the transmission shaft (34), so that the shift gear (60) is axially displaceable on the transmission shaft (34) while maintaining a drive connection therewith. Furthermore, a locking device (66) is provided, by which the shift gear (60) is axially displaceable into multiple locking positions (R1, R2, R3). The locking device (66) comprises an actuating pin (68, 107) that is mounted to be radially displaceable relative to the transmission shaft (34) and spring-biased, which is in engagement with an actuating shaft (70) rotatably mounted in the transmission shaft (34), and by means of which the actuating pin (68, 107) can be brought, by rotating the actuating shaft (70), from an unlocking position (ES) to a locking position (VS) and vice versa.
