"textContent": "The invention relates to a method for improving hands-off detection (14) in a vehicle (44) with steering torque-based detection by providing swarm data (40) from vehicles (10) that detect hands-off situations (14) with hand distance sensors (22) in the steering wheel (20). Over a specific route section (26), both detection results are compared and in case of deviations (36), the correctness of the results of the hand distance sensors (22) is assumed. On this basis, route sections (26) are determined on which the steering torque-based detection is unreliable. Based on this finding, systems (46) with steering torque evaluation can then be re-parameterized in order to become more reliable in a route-related manner.",
