VEHICLE FOR TRANSPORTING LIVING ANIMALS

The application describes a vehicle (100) for transporting living animals. The vehicle comprises a loading space (102) and an air flow generator (106) for generating an air flow of fresh air to be supplied to the loading space. The loading space is defined by a ceiling, a floor, a front wall, a rear wall, a first sidewall and a second sidewall. At least the first sidewall (104) being movable such that the living animals may be loaded and unloaded from a side of the vehicle. The first sidewall comprises an air supply duct (108) configured to be coupled to and to receive fresh air from the air flow generator. The air supply duct extends a substantial portion of the length of the loading space and the air supply duct comprises a plurality of openings for distributing the fresh air over the length of the loading space.
