The invention relates to a vehicle seat with a lower part for arrangement on a body part of a commercial vehicle and an upper part for supporting a seat part, wherein the vehicle seat has a rotary adjustment device by means of which at least parts of the upper part are rotatable relative to the lower part about an axis in the height direction of the vehicle seat, wherein the rotary adjustment device comprises an electric motor for rotating a turntable unit rigidly connected to the upper part and rotatably supported relative to the lower part about the axis, wherein a drive shaft of the electric motor interacting mechanically with the turntable unit is arranged parallel to the width direction of the vehicle seat, wherein, viewed in each case in the height direction of the vehicle seat, an extent of the electric motor and an extent of the turntable unit are arranged at least partially overlapping.
