METHOD FOR LIGHTING A FRONT VEHICLE ENVIRONMENT, LIGHTING DEVICE AND VEHICLE

Method for illuminating a front vehicle surroundings area of a motor vehicle (1), wherein an illumination device with a control device (4) and at least one headlamp (2, 3) is used for illumination, wherein the headlamp (2, 3) can illuminate multiple contiguous solid angle segments, wherein the luminous intensity of the headlamp (2, 3) for each of the solid angle segments is controlled separately by the control device (4) in order to emit a light pattern into the front vehicle surroundings area, wherein after fulfillment of an activation condition the headlamp (2, 3) is controlled by the control device (4) such that initially a predefined initial pattern (5, 16) is emitted as a light pattern, whereupon in several consecutive time steps the emitted light pattern is gradually transformed stepwise from the initial pattern (5, 16) into an information pattern (6), wherein the information pattern (6) describes driving-relevant information.
