A structurally supported non-pneumatic tire (100) comprising a ground contacting annular tread portion (200), a shear band (300) and at least one spoke disk (400) connected to the shear band (300) is disclosed. The spoke disk (400) has at least one spoke (410). At least one or all of the following statements is true for the non-pneumatic tire (100): (i) the spring rate of the spoke disk (400) is greater than the spring rate of the shear band (300); (ii) the spoke (410) has a width (W) and an axial thickness (t), the ratio of W/t being in the range of from 15 to 80; (ii) the spoke (410) has an axial thickness less than the axial thickness of the spoke disk (400).
