FUEL INJECTION CONTROL DEVICE AND FUEL INJECTION CONTROL METHOD FOR INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE

DRIVE March 22, 2017
Source
A fuel injection control device controls fuel injection for direct injection into a cylinder of a spark-ignition internal combustion engine including a head-side cooling channel cools a cylinder head, a block-side cooling channel cools a cylinder block, and a cooling device independently controlling the circulation of a coolant in the head-side cooling channel and the circulation of a coolant in the block-side cooling channel. The fuel injection control device is provided with a fuel injection timing setting means for setting a fuel injection timing for cooling the inside of the cylinder, as an intake air valve closing timing, during an occurrence of a reduction in gas temperature inside the cylinder due to evaporative latent heat of the injected fuel, while circulating the coolant into the head-side cooling channel with the circulation of the coolant in the block-side cooling channel stopped, and the fuel injection control device injects the fuel based on the fuel injection timing for cooling the inside of the cylinder.
