Lighting device (2) for a motor vehicle, the lighting device (2) being adapted to emit light in a main emission direction (X). The lighting device (2) comprises: - at least one base (14) mounted fixed in the lighting device (2), - at least one pallet (16) being articulated on the base (14) and having a panel (16P) on which is arranged at least one light source (16S) adapted to emit light in a preferred radiation direction (Y), and - an actuation device (18) adapted to rotate the pallet (16) relative to the base (14) between a rest position and an emission position in which the preferred radiation direction (Y) is close to the main emission direction (X) or corresponds substantially to the main emission direction (X).
