STABILIZER BAR AND PROCESS OF PRODUCING THE SAME

The invention relates to a torsion bar stabilizer for a chassis of a motor vehicle, comprising: a torsion spring section (3) and two legs (4, 4') bent away from the torsion spring section; wherein the legs each have a formed end section (7, 7') with a through opening (10, 10') and a tubular section (6, 6'); wherein the torsion spring section has a hardened structure with a strength of at least 1000 MPa; and wherein the formed end sections have a hardened structure with a strength of at least 800 MPa. The invention further relates to a method for manufacturing a corresponding stabilizer.
