The subject of the present invention is an electronic unit () suitable for being positioned on an inner surface (Fi) of a tread of a tire (P) with a view to measuring operating parameters of a vehicle wheel fitted with said tire, the electronic unit being characterized in that it comprises: a body () configured to be embedded within the thickness of said tire, in a housing provided for this purpose, and including sensors () for measuring operating parameters of the wheel; a a head (), arranged at one end of the body and comprising a circuit board () for managing information from the sensors on the body and communication means () for communicating with a central unit on board the vehicle; connection means () for connecting the elements fitted to the body to the elements fitted to the head; and a means () for supplying the electronic unit with power.
