The invention relates to a vehicle seat cushion (1) that is intended for releasable attachment to a vehicle seat (22). The vehicle seat cushion (1) has two flexibly bendable layers (3, 4), each of which has a recess (9, 18) for receiving a headrest rod (8). The recesses (9, 18) each have an edge opening (10). In this case, the edge opening (10) of one layer (3) is partially or completely covered in a plan view by an edge of the recess (18) of the other layer (4), whereby reliable but releasable attachment of the vehicle seat cushion (1) to the headrest rod (8) is ensured.
