The present invention relates to the electrochemical field, and in particular, to a positive electrode lithium replenishment material, and a preparation method and uses thereof. The present invention provides a positive electrode lithium replenishment material, including a first lithium-containing compound. The first lithium-containing compound is selected from one or more of compounds whose chemical formula is denoted by Formula I. An outer layer of the positive electrode lithium replenishment material includes a second lithium-containing compound. An activity of reacting with water by the second lithium-containing compound is lower than that by the first lithium-containing compound. The positive electrode lithium replenishment material provided in the present invention can effectively prevent a gelling phenomenon in a slurry preparation process, and can also slow down inactivation of the lithium replenishment material caused by a reaction between the electrode plate with moisture and carbon dioxide in the air during storage of the electrode plate, thereby significantly increasing manufacturability of lithium-ion batteries replenished with lithium, and improving the energy density and electrochemical performance of the lithium-ion batteries.
