The invention relates to a position detection device (500) intended to be mounted in a housing that comprises an electric machine and an electronic control device for the electric machine, to transfer a position signal from the machine to said electronic control device, the device (500) comprising: - a position sensor (501), - a support (502) on which the position sensor (501) is intended to be mounted, the support (502) being configured to be received against the walls of a blind hole inside said housing in order to achieve, at least in part, the holding in place of said device (500).
