DRIVE
March 1, 2017
It is a pipe connector (10) for connecting a fuel line (26) of a fuel supply for an internal combustion engine of a motor vehicle, having an adapter piece (12) connectable with the fuel line (26) for insertion into a fuel tube (32) and a support sleeve (16) inserted in the adapter piece (12) for electrical contacting of the fuel line (26) with the fuel tube (32), wherein the support sleeve (16) has in a partial region a stop lug (18) extending out of a lateral surface plane of the support sleeve (16) for axial abutment on the adapter piece (12). By means of the stop lug (18) extending out of the lateral surface plane, the insertion depth of the cost-effectively producible support sleeve (16) in the adapter piece (12) can be predetermined with little assembly effort without additional material accumulation, so that a cost-effective connection of a fuel line (26) for an internal combustion engine of a motor vehicle is made possible.
