The engine-and-electric-machine assembly includes an engine (8) and an electric machine (9), a crankshaft (7) being provided in the engine (8), the crankshaft (7) including a main body (7-1) and an extension section (7-3) that extends out to the exterior of the engine (8), the extension section (7-3) forming a rotation shaft (6) of the electric machine (9), a rotor of the electric machine (9) being mounted on the extension section (7-3), and a transition section (7-2) being provided between the main body (7-1) of the crankshaft (7) and the extension section (7-3), wherein the rotor of the electric machine (9) is connected to the transition section (7-2) via a flange structure. The present disclosure, by connecting the rotor of the electric machine (9) and the crankshaft (7) of the engine (8) by using a flange, instead of using a key connecting structure, can improve the strength of the connection between the rotor (3) and the crankshaft (7), and optimize the moment of inertia of the transmission structure between the rotor (3) and the crankshaft (7).",
