METHOD FOR PRODUCING A BATTERY CELL AND BATTERY CELL

The invention relates to a method for manufacturing a battery cell (8), in particular a lithium-ion battery cell, comprising a housing (10) and a battery winding (24) arranged in the housing (10), wherein the battery winding (24) has a first electrode side (26) and a second electrode side (28). The method comprises materially joining the first electrode side (26) of the battery winding (24) with a metallic bottom part (16) of the housing (10) before or after introducing the battery winding (24) into a metallic wall part (14) of the housing (10) and materially joining the second electrode side (28) of the battery winding (24) with a current feedthrough (32) after introducing the battery winding (24) into the metallic wall part (14), wherein after a material joining of the metallic bottom part (16) with the metallic wall part (14) and the material joining of the second electrode side (28) with the current feedthrough (32), a metallic cover part (12) is materially joined with the metallic wall part (14), and wherein the material joining of the metallic bottom part (16) with the metallic wall part takes place only after the material joining of the first electrode side (26) of the battery winding (24) with the metallic bottom part (16). Further aspects of the invention relate to a battery cell manufactured according to the method and its use.
