In a vehicle seat (20), a seat cushion (22) is coupled to a floor section (10) so as to be capable of swiveling. When the vehicle seat (20) swivels, a seatback (24) is swiveled by a first swivel mechanism (40) from a first upright position toward the seat front side and disposed in a second upright position, and is swiveled from the second upright position toward a seat rear side. The swivel angle of the seatback (24) is set so as to avoid interference between the seatback (24) and other members of the vehicle during swiveling of the vehicle seat (20). This thereby enables interference between the seatback (24) and other members of the vehicle to be avoided during swiveling of the vehicle seat (20).
