REAR WHEEL HUB AND BICYCLE AXIS

A rear wheel hub for mountain bikes has a secondary body (10) and a sprocket carrier (14) rotatably mounted on a hub axle (16). The hub body (10) is coupled to the sprocket carrier (14) via a freewheel mechanism (26). By providing a decoupling mechanism (38), it is possible to decouple the sprocket carrier (14) from the hub body (10).
