Vehicle pneumatic tire, in particular for use under winter driving conditions, with a tread having profile positives (1), such as profile blocks, separated from one another by grooves, in which cuts (4) running essentially in the axial direction are formed, which in the radial direction each extend to a depth (t) of 70% to 100% of the maximum tread depth (T), each having two cut walls (5) running symmetrically to the center plane (E) of the cut (4) and composed in the radial direction of three adjoining sections (4a, 4b, 4c) with a radially outer section (4a), which is bounded essentially by wall sections (5a) running in the radial direction and extends to a depth (t1) of 70% to 90% of the depth (t) of the cut (4), a middle section (4b) running between the radially outer section (4a) and the radially inner section (4c), and with a radially inner section (4c), which in cross-section has wall sections (5c) running rounded from the center plane (E) outward. The middle section (4b) running between the radially outer section (4a) and the radially inner section (4c) extends to a depth (t2) of 80% to 95% of the depth (t) of the cut (4) and is bounded by wall sections (5b) which, with widening of the middle section (4b) toward the cut bottom, each run at an angle (±) of 5° to 60° to the radial direction, wherein the curved profile of the wall sections (5c) in the radially inner section (4c) is based on radii whose associated circle centers lie along a line (l1) running perpendicular to the center plane (E) of the cut (4), with the center point of the circle belonging to the smallest radius (r1) lying on the center plane (E) and this radius (r1) running to the deepest point (P1) of the cut (4), with the largest radius (r2) each running to the radially outer end point (P2) of each wall section (5c) and the center point of its circle being the center point lying farthest from the center plane (E), and with the radii increasing continuously between the points (P1, P2) and the distance of the centers of the associated circles to the center plane (E) increasing.
