A head-up display system and display method, a vehicle, and a computer product. The head-up display system comprises: a display control module (1) configured to output, within a first period of time, first linearly polarized light (P) for displaying a first image (51) and to output, within a second period of time, second linearly polarized light (S) for displaying a second image (52); and a polarization light splitting element (3) provided on a light emission path of the display control module (1) and configured to make a propagation direction of the first linearly polarized light (P) deflect at a first angle and make a propagation direction of the second linearly polarized light (S) deflect at a second angle, wherein the first angle is different from the second angle such that an image display area of the head-up display system can be enlarged and thus vision is broadened.
