The invention relates, inter alia, to a cover device (20) for covering a floor gap (13) between two mutually coupled vehicles (11, 12) which are rotatable relative to one another. According to the invention, it is provided that with one of the vehicles, hereinafter referred to as first vehicle (11), a base plate (21) of the cover device (20) is connected, which extends in the vehicle longitudinal direction in the direction of the second vehicle (12) and covers a section of the floor gap (13), and a rotating plate (22), which rests on the other of the two vehicles, hereinafter referred to as second vehicle (12), and which - in the event of a relative rotation of the two vehicles (11, 12) - rotates relative to the second vehicle (12).
