The present invention relates to • a sealing gel with a Mooney viscosity (ML1+4@100 °C) in the range of 100 MU to 170 MU, • a sealing compound containing sealing gel according to the invention, • a method for producing this sealing compound, • the use of sealing gels for improving the viscoelastic properties in sealing compounds, as well as • the use of sealing gel-containing sealing compounds for improving the rolling resistance properties in tires with sealing layers.
