SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR RELAYING ROUTE INFORMATION FOR NAVIGATIONAL PURPOSES

An image processor 306 selects images to use to depict a route generated by GPS navigation 304 and generates cognitive cues from the images. A route processor 308 receives the selected images and cognitive cues and generates a route preview representation 318. The image processor 306 can employ image metadata and/or image relationship information to facilitate in determining which images to select. The route processor 308 can also provide alternative routes based on the selected images from the image processor 306.
