DRIVE
January 11, 2017
Device (10) for operating an all-wheel-drive agricultural utility vehicle (12), with a driven rear axle (14) and a front axle (18) that can be engaged to perform all-wheel-drive operation, wherein a control unit (22) determines a front wheel slip magnitude during all-wheel-drive operation, which characterizes a drive wheel slip occurring at the front axle (18) of the agricultural utility vehicle (12). The control unit (22) deactivates the all-wheel-drive operation independently of the driver when it recognizes that the determined front wheel slip magnitude is greater than a predefined threshold value.
