A vehicle headlight assembly (12) includes a plurality of snap wedge assemblies (22) with at least one of the snap wedge assemblies including a ball stud (32) configured for engagement with a light module (14) and an insert (30) coupled with the ball stud (32), the insert (30) including a plurality of wedges (50) and a plurality of snap fingers (42). The assembly (12) further includes a plurality of carrier receptacles (20) for matingly receiving and securing the snap wedge assemblies (22).
