  "textContent": "An adjustment unit for indirect vision systems is provided, comprising a first and a second component, which is connected to a support structure of an indirect vision system with as few connecting elements as possible. In this case, the interface of the adjustment unit to the support structure must withstand robust mechanical requirements in a small installation space. In that the second component comprises a pressure distribution element that extends transversely to the longitudinal direction of the main connecting element and that this pressure distribution element is subjected to pressure by the main connecting element, the forces introduced centrally onto the pressure distribution element and thus onto the second component are distributed uniformly in the direction transverse to the main connecting element. The force-locking connection with the support structure therefore no longer occurs centrally, but is distributed over the transverse extension of the second component. In this way, dimensional changes due to aging—creep behavior of plastics—can be compensated for and warping of the individual components is reduced.",
