A sealing profile according to the invention, which is provided in particular for the door/portal area of vehicles, comprises a firmly anchored foot region (4), a middle region (6), and a front region with a sealing lip (8). The sealing profile is formed in the middle region (6) with at least one elongated inner hollow chamber (52) bounded by two legs (34, 36) and is equipped with at least one bending point (38, 40) such that the sealing profile in the middle region (6) can be deflected laterally in at least one direction.
