A fuel filler neck (1) for a motor vehicle is provided, which comprises a plastic tube (2), a metal filler head (3) surrounding the plastic tube (2) at its end, and a first seal (4) made of an elastomer arranged circumferentially between the plastic tube (2) and the filler head (3). Furthermore, the fuel filler neck (1) has a first support ring (5) which is arranged opposite the first seal (4) with respect to the plastic tube (2) and which has a greater wall thickness than the filler head (3). Finally, a motor vehicle is also provided which comprises a fuel filler neck (1) of the aforementioned type.
