  "textContent": "An intake air supply construction for an engine includes an intake pipe 6 through which intake air flows, an intake manifold 2 that is connected to the intake pipe 6 so as to induce intake air into a plurality of intake ports that are aligned in a cylinder head, an intercooler 15 that is incorporated in the intake manifold 2 so as to cool intake air, and a lid 26A that closes, from an exterior, a working opening portion 24 that is formed in a side surface portion 23a of the intake manifold 2 that lies upstream of the intercooler 15 in relation to the flow of intake air. The intake manifold 2 has a boss portion 25 to which the lid 26A is fastened. The boss portion 25 projects from an inner surface of the side surface portion 23a that faces an outlet 34 side, so as to divide intake air that flows in from an inlet 21 to both sides of an aligning direction of the intake ports.",
