Source
Vehicle pneumatic tire in radial construction with a tread having a shoulder-side tread region (2), which comprises a shoulder-side profile block row (5) and a further profile block row (6), wherein the further profile block row (6) is bounded on the tread-inward side by a circumferential groove (3) and is composed of macroblock elements (10) arranged successively over the circumference of the tread, wherein each macroblock (10) is bounded toward the circumferential groove (3) by a block flank (13), wherein the block flank (13) of the macroblock (10) is composed of three flank surfaces adjoining one another in the radial direction, which extend over the entire circumferential extent of the block flank (13) and each run at an acute angle to the radial direction, wherein the angle of the radially inner flank surface and the angle of the radially outer flank surface change their magnitudes continuously and oppositely to each other over the circumferential extent of their flank surfaces and wherein the middle flank surface runs at a constant angle to the radial direction.
