The invention relates to a device for closing an air intake opening for a motor vehicle, intended to equip a front end module (1) and comprising at least two shutters (13, 15) of the air intake which are movable in pivoting between on the one hand a closed position in which the shutters (13, 15) prevent air from passing and on the other hand a retracted position in which air can pass through the air intake. At least one of the edges (48) of one (13) of the shutters (13, 15), intended to be facing the edge of the other (15) shutter, has an elastic lip (50).
