The method for producing a precursor of a positive electrode active material according to the present disclosure, includes: a step of bringing a raw material containing Ni and Co into contact with an aqueous phase containing ammonia and ammonium sulfate to leach Ni and Co into the aqueous phase; a step of removing and recovering ammonia from the aqueous phase; a step of dissolving a manganese salt in the aqueous phase from which ammonia has been removed; and a step of obtaining a carbonate salt containing Ni, Co, and Mn by crystallization with ammonium bicarbonate from the aqueous phase in which the manganese salt has been dissolved.",
